Hello there, my name is Freddie Maw IV and I am very proud to be associated with Exit Realty Helena. I am brand new to Real Estate but have a Mentor with over 30 years experience to help make your sale or purchase of a home as smooth as possible.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My family is originally from Great Falls, but my Grandfather moved to Southern California when he was three. My mother grew up in Great Falls and met my dad, an Air Force Corpsman and they moved back to California. I was born and raised in Southern California and we used to always come visit moms family for vacations and it was then that I decided one day, I would move back to Montana. God's Country, The Big Sky. I joined the military as an Army Medic and spent 6.5 years touring the world, visiting exotic places. I met my wife in 1992 and we married and had 3 kids over the years. In 2000, I brought my wife and children back to my homeland and within two days she gave the ok to move to Helena. It took six years but in October of 2006, we became permanent residents of Helena, Montana, fulfilling my childhood dream.
As a sales representative for Verizon Wireless for almost 6 years, I developed a lot of good relationships taking care of customers. I was really praised for my customer service and for taking care of their needs. In 2013, I began working at the Fort Harrison VA Hospital as a Nurse Assistant. Working nights has become very difficult so I needed to find something else that would be satisfying, so I chose Real Estate. Why? Because I could use all the skills I learned as a Sales Rep and yet still continue to take care of people in one of their greatest times of need. Buying or selling a house is no easy decision and I desire to be that helping hand that provides my talents to make it as enjoyable as can be.
I am very active in the community as a Baseball Umpire and an Ice Hockey Referee. I enjoy being there for the kids, ensuring they are able to play a game. I enjoy being there for the kids and the adults in hockey, teaching and making it as safe and enjoyable as we can. I have done a lot of volunteering at Helena Ice Arena with the Helena Bighorns in various capacities and even spent almost a whole season as the Game Host Announcer. I also volunteer every year at the SEP Montana youth camp that takes place in July every year, down at Hellgate campground.
I truly love Helena, my wife truly loves Helena and we love our Church, Helena Valley Faith Center. We have no desire to be anywhere else. The friendships we developed, the opportunities we have had to do things we could have never done before, and the dream of a better life are some of the reasons we love Helena. I ask you to give me the opportunity to help make your dreams come true, allow me to help you buy or sell a home, and I will do the best job I can for you.
Thank you Helena, It's good to be Home.
